Pin and Pan are conjoined twin, born in Thailand, The twins live with their grandparents in Nakhon Sawan province, some 240km from Bangkok.
Many twin sisters are close, sharing everything from clothes to their innermost secrets.

But Pin and Pan are quite literally inseparable - as they are joined at the waist and share two legs between them, forcing them to walk around on their hands.

They joined at waist. The twin sisters wish to live as they were born they don't want to be separated. They have their own separate hearts and their own dreams, but what makes them extraordinary is they share legs.

Conjoined twins also known as Siamese twins are identical twins joined in utero. An extremely rare phenomenon, the occurrence is estimated to range from 1 in 49,000 births to 1 in 189,000 births, with a somewhat higher incidence in Southwest Asia and Africa.

Sisters Pan and Pin Romphoyen love to play, eat ice cream, laugh, argue, fight and cry, just like any other nine-year-old girls.

They have their own dreams, hopes and hearts, but unlike other children, they share legs; Pin and Pan are Siamese twins.
Although their bodies are connected, their personalities, looks and likes are quite different. Pan keeps her hair short, while Pin's is always long.

A doctor advised the family of an operation to separate the twins, but it is one of high risk. Both Pin and Pan say they want to stay together.
Most of conjoined twins were born in Asia and Africa. In an additional one-third die within 24 hours. Most live births are female.
